Welcome to our animal rescue organization based in Macedonia, where compassion meets action since 2015. At the heart of our mission is the unwavering commitment to providing a lifeline for homeless animals in need.
With a dedicated team and a passion for animal welfare, we’ve built a sanctuary that serves as a haven for those without a home. Our shelter provides refuge for up to 55 stray dogs, offering them not just a place to stay, but a safe and nurturing environment where they can heal and thrive while awaiting their forever families.

Beyond sheltering, we are on a mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. Each animal that comes through our doors is met with care, kindness, and a promise of a brighter future. We believe in giving every creature, no matter their background, a chance at a life filled with love and companionship.
Our efforts extend beyond the walls of our shelter. We reach out to assist feral cats, abandoned pets, and any animal in distress, striving to alleviate their suffering and instill a sense of hope. Through education and outreach programs, we advocate for responsible pet ownership, fostering a community where every animal is valued and cared for.

About Me – Angela Tasevska
Hi, I’m Angela, and I’m 38 years old. I founded FreeRescue, a nonprofit organization, in August 2015 when I was 28 years old.
Since childhood, I have always loved animals. I grew up surrounded by them, and as a little girl, I would bring every stray dog I found into my yard and feed them. Even the sick ones—I couldn’t just walk past them without stopping to comfort them.
As I got older, I started saving money and using it to help injured and sick animals that needed medical care. Over time, more friends joined me in this mission, offering their support, and together, we built what is now FreeRescue.
Even today, I keep fighting because there are still so many animals suffering on the streets. Unfortunately, our country is struggling financially, and many people don’t care about animals. On top of that, we lack strong animal protection laws.
My biggest dream is to rescue every animal from the streets and find them loving homes. I want to reach a day where all I have to do is visit them in their new families and see them happy, safe, and loved. ❤️
